Rob Biederman

Rob Biederman is the Managing Partner at Asymmetric Capital Partners, an early-stage technology investment firm operating primarily across the New York and Boston markets. Before launching his current venture capital fund, he co-founded and spent eight years as the co-CEO of Catalant Technologies, an on-demand consulting marketplace he started in 2013 while attending Harvard Business School. Under his executive leadership, Catalant secured $125 million in total funding from prominent institutional investors, including General Catalyst and Salesforce Ventures. At Asymmetric, Biederman recently raised a $137 million second fund backed exclusively by family offices, writing initial checks between $500,000 and $5 million for founders. He also serves as the Chairman of Catalant and co-authored the book "Reimagining Work." His current investment focus centers on identifying contrarian opportunities in vertical software, digital health, and cash-flow-positive business consolidations.
