Michael McCartney

Michael McCartney currently serves as the Managing Partner at McCartney Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to founding the investment firm in 2018, he worked as the Vice President of Product at Salesforce, managing enterprise software solutions that generated over $450 million in annual recurring revenue. He previously held senior engineering positions at Google and began his corporate career as a financial analyst at a global investment bank after earning his MBA from Stanford University. Over the past decade, McCartney has deployed more than $120 million in seed capital across 35 technology startups, realizing four portfolio exits including strategic acquisitions by Microsoft and Oracle. His current professional focus centers on evaluating and directing investments into early-stage artificial intelligence, enterprise software-as-a-service, and secure cloud infrastructure companies operating throughout the broader North American market.
