Hadi Partovi is the Co-founder and CEO of Code.org and an active angel investor based in Seattle, Washington. He previously served as a Group Program Manager at Microsoft before co-founding LinkExchange, which Microsoft acquired for $265 million in 1998, and Tellme Networks, which Microsoft purchased for $800 million in 2007. As an early-stage investor alongside his brother Ali, he has backed more than 50 technology startups, including prominent companies such as Facebook, Airbnb, and Uber. Under his leadership, Code.org has reached over 100 million students globally, generated more than one billion participants for its Hour of Code campaign, and recently secured a $50 million funding round in 2025 for further international expansion.
