Zorayr Khalapyan

Zorayr Khalapyan is the Co-Founder of Blackwing Finance and an Investor at South Park Commons. Alongside Shahmeer Navid, he established Blackwing Finance to develop a liquidation-free margin trading platform for the fintech sector. Prior to his current ventures, he spent three years from 2020 to 2023 as a Founder and Fellow at South Park Commons, and he has also been associated with the On Deck community. Khalapyan previously spent several years at Facebook, serving as Head of Product for Experimentation Messenger from 2017 to 2020 and working as an Engineering Manager for Facebook Stories starting in 2016. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science between 2009 and 2013, he built a career bridging technical execution and product strategy. His professional focus centers on early-stage technology development, product management, and advancing decentralized financial infrastructure.
