ZANN ALI

Zann Ali is a General Partner at 2048 Ventures based in New York City, where he specializes in pre-seed and early-stage venture investments. Before joining the venture capital firm, he held roles at the intersection of strategy and innovation within major financial institutions and co-founded Fidelity Health, an insuretech startup funded directly by Fidelity Investments. During his graduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Ali invested in student-led startups through the Dorm Room Fund and taught the university's official venture capital course. He initially joined 2048 Ventures as a Principal before rapidly advancing to his current leadership role, where he has led the firm's investments in early-stage companies such as Turbodega and Bloom. His current focus centers on expanding the firm's portfolio by identifying emerging technology startups originating from financial services backgrounds.
