Zach Segal is a San Francisco-based General Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he invests in early-stage technology startups across North America and Europe. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2022, he co-founded a technology startup, led product development, and held various operations and growth roles after attending the University of Pennsylvania. As an operator-turned-investor, Segal has backed more than 20 companies as a lead investor, with his historical portfolio including notable public market exits such as PagerDuty and Twilio. His recent investment activity includes leading a $25 million Series A funding round for an artificial intelligence infrastructure company in March 2026 and publishing industry research on AI agent economies.
