Zach Powell

Zach Powell is a General Partner at Eos Venture Partners, a specialized venture capital fund focused exclusively on the insurtech sector, based in Southern California. He joined the firm in August 2021 to lead investments in early and growth-stage technology businesses transforming the insurance value chain. Previously, Powell served as the Founder and Managing Director of AXIS Digital Ventures, the corporate venture arm of AXIS Capital, where he managed strategic partnerships and principal investments. Before that, he worked as a Vice President within Swiss Re’s Principal Investments group, executing buyout and growth equity transactions across the financial services sector, and earned a degree in Finance from Santa Clara University. His career is defined by a specialized focus on insurance innovation, combining traditional investment banking expertise with strategic venture capital execution in the global insurtech market.
