ZACH JOHNSTON

Zach Johnston is an Analyst at 2048 Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, based in Toronto, Canada. In his current position, he focuses on sourcing and evaluating pre-seed and seed investments across multiple emerging technology sectors for the fund. His specific investment mandate targets early-stage startups developing specialized vertical artificial intelligence applications, deep technology platforms, and foundational technical infrastructure. Prior to joining 2048 Ventures, Johnston served as an Associate Director at the Creative Destruction Lab, a technology startup accelerator located at the University of Toronto. During his tenure at the institution, he collaborated directly with early-stage founders and led strategic program design initiatives across the artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, and commerce streams.
