William Boebel is the founder and managing partner of Boebel Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Austin, Texas. Prior to his current investment activities, he co-founded Webmail.us, a business email hosting provider that was successfully acquired by Rackspace in 2007 for an undisclosed amount. Following the acquisition, Boebel served as Vice President of Technology at Rackspace before co-founding Pingboard, an employee networking software platform, where he operated as Chief Executive Officer. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, he has been an active figure in the Texas startup ecosystem, serving as a Venture Partner at Capital Factory and deploying capital through Boebel Ventures since 2010. Today, his primary focus remains on providing early-stage capital and strategic operational guidance to founders who are building revolutionary technology companies across the enterprise software and business-to-business sectors.
