Vishal Gupta

Vishal Gupta is a Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners based in Bangalore, India, where he focuses on early-stage investments in consumer internet, financial technology, and healthcare technology. Before joining the firm in 2006, he served as a senior manager in the treasury department at Reliance Group and worked as an executive assistant to the CEO for a joint venture between HCL Technologies and Deutsche Bank. Over his 20-year career in private equity and venture capital, Gupta has directed investments and held board positions across more than 25 companies, including Swiggy, BigBasket, and Bharat Matrimony. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and is a certified chartered accountant.
