Verena Pausder is the Chairwoman of the German Startup Association and an Industry Advisor at AVS Advisors, based in Frankfurt, Germany. She previously founded Fox & Sheep in 2012, scaling it into Germany's largest children's app developer, and launched HABA Digitalwerkstatt in 2016, expanding the educational initiative to 10 locations before selling her shares in 2019. Pausder has held supervisory and advisory roles with Comdirect Bank AG and the Innovation Council for German Minister Dorothee Bär. Her work in technology and education earned her recognition as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2016 and a spot on the Forbes Europe’s Top 50 Women In Tech list in 2018. Today, her professional focus remains on advancing digital education, supporting deep tech startups, and advocating for women's sports through FC Viktoria Berlin.
