Veery Maxwell

Veery Maxwell is the Co-Head of Venture and Growth at Galvanize Climate Solutions, a specialized climate finance firm focused on scaling decarbonization technology. Previously, she served as a Founding Partner at Ajax Investment Strategies, where she invested in various early-stage climate technology companies. Before launching Ajax, Maxwell was a Director at Energy Innovation, managing a large climate philanthropy portfolio targeting regulatory interventions across the power, transportation, and industrial sectors. She currently holds board director positions at five for-profit technology companies, including Descartes Labs, Sunfolding, Trace Genomics, and Voltus, alongside two nonprofit boards, Clean Energy for America and the CREO Syndicate. Additionally, she serves on the Investment Advisory Committee at the Prime Coalition. Maxwell focuses her current venture investment strategy on the intersection of markets, technology, and policy to drive global greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
