Tony Florence

Tony Florence is the Co-CEO of New Enterprise Associates (NEA) based in New York, New York. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2008, he spent over a decade at Morgan Stanley directing the technology investment banking group, and he holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Dartmouth College. During his tenure at NEA, Florence has led investments in various consumer and enterprise technology companies, including Jet.com and Quidsi, which was acquired by Amazon in 2011. His investment track record earned him recognition on the Forbes Midas List from 2017 to 2019, and he previously served as the firm's Co-President and Managing General Partner of Technology. Florence currently oversees global technology investing across seed, early, and growth stages, maintaining a primary focus on software, internet, and marketplace e-commerce sectors.
