Thomas Tull

Thomas Tull is the Founder, Chair, and CEO of Tulco LLC, a privately held holding company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After starting his career in private equity at The Convex Group, he founded Legendary Pictures, building the entertainment production company into a major Hollywood entity responsible for blockbuster films such as Batman Begins and 300. Beyond his corporate leadership, Tull is a minority owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and serves on the boards of the American Film Institute and the San Diego Zoo. A 1992 graduate of Hamilton College, he was appointed as a visiting innovation scholar at the MIT School of Engineering in 2022 to focus on artificial intelligence and quantum computing. His current focus centers on leveraging proprietary data science and deep learning technologies to scale established businesses operating in under-innovated industries.
