Thomas Gillespie

Thomas Gillespie is a Managing Partner on the Investment Team and the Investment Lead for the Field Technologies Practice at In-Q-Tel. Before joining the strategic investment arm of the Central Intelligence Agency, he served as a Strategy Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, advising clients across the aerospace, financial services, and national security sectors. His earlier career includes co-founding the venture commercialization firm LaunchFuel, directing corporate strategy projects at AT&T Solutions, and holding advisory roles within the United States Congress. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Gillespie currently focuses on funding early-stage deep tech university spinouts and commercial space ventures, specifically targeting launch vehicles, satellites, robotics, and autonomous systems to address critical national security challenges.
