Tess Hatch

Tess Hatch is a Partner at Bessemer Venture Partners based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before joining the venture capital firm, she worked in a customer-facing role at SpaceX and earned a master's degree in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University, alongside a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan. Promoted to partner in April 2021, she manages investments across the aerospace and deep tech sectors, notably overseeing two portfolio companies, Spire Global and Rocket Lab, as they transitioned to public markets that same year. Hatch currently serves as a board director for several technology startups, including DroneDeploy, Phantom Auto, and Iris Automation, while also backing aviation ventures like Boom Supersonic. Her current investment focus centers on commercializing frontier technologies to address critical global challenges and advance commercial space exploration initiatives.
