TED PERSSON

Ted Persson is a Partner at EQT Ventures, where he co-founded and currently leads the venture capital firm's dedicated DeepTech investment practice. Active within the Nordic startup ecosystem since the late 1990s, he transitioned into institutional investing following an initial career as a technology founder and product design strategist. In his current capacity, Persson directs capital toward early-stage companies developing breakthrough technologies across robotics, advanced artificial intelligence, quantum computing, simulation, and climate tech. His active investment portfolio features prominent hardware and software startups, including autonomous freight company Einride, consumer electronics brand Nothing, humanoid robotics developer 1X, enterprise software firm Sana Labs, and electric aircraft manufacturer Heart Aerospace.
