Sung ho Choi is the Managing Partner at Mashup Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, he oversees a fund with over $100 million in assets under management, targeting pre-seed to Series A investments across the SaaS, artificial intelligence, and fintech sectors. His investment portfolio encompasses more than fifty companies, featuring notable startups such as SendBird, Yanolja, and Musinsa. Before transitioning to venture capital, Choi earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from KAIST and gained operational experience by founding Whatzapp, which was acquired, and holding leadership positions at SendBird. He recently led a $15 million Series A funding round for the AI startup Haruka in March 2025. Choi leverages his technical engineering background and entrepreneurial experience to scale early-stage B2B software and developer tool platforms.
