Dr. Sue Xu is the Managing Partner at Amino Capital, where she directs early-stage technology venture capital investments. Since 2012, she has executed more than 130 investments across multiple sectors, specializing in data-driven solutions and blockchain technologies. Her venture portfolio includes several startups that were subsequently acquired by major technology corporations, such as Assemblage by Cisco, Orbeus by Amazon, Woomoo by Priceline, and Ozlo by Facebook. In the blockchain sector, Xu led seed funding for String Labs and participated in early token sales for protocols including DFINITY, Oasis, and Kadena. Additionally, she previously held operational leadership roles, serving as the interim Chief Executive Officer of both CandyHouse and Databeyond during their initial development phases. Xu currently concentrates her professional focus on identifying and backing emerging companies that are building decentralized Web3 protocols and advanced data-driven infrastructure.
