Stefan Jeschonnek

Stefan Jeschonnek is a Partner at Speedinvest based in Berlin, Germany, where he leads early-stage investments across the European technology sector. Since joining the firm in January 2024, he has backed more than 20 companies and recently led a $50 million Series A funding round for Northvolt in March 2025. Prior to his current position, he served as a Venture Partner at Point Nine from 2020 to 2023 and worked as a Principal at Project A Ventures between 2018 and 2020. His earlier career includes roles at Cherry Ventures and Boston Consulting Group, after earning a degree in Business Administration from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. His historical portfolio features notable exits including the 2022 unicorn Personio. Today, his primary investment focus centers on scaling startups within the SaaS, fintech, and climate technology verticals.
