Sky Dayton

Sky Dayton is an entrepreneur and investor currently serving as a Venture Partner at Craft Ventures. He founded internet service provider EarthLink in 1994 at age 23 and established Boingo Wireless in 2001, which went public in 2011. Over his career, Dayton has built multiple technology ventures that have reached an aggregate market value exceeding $20 billion. His portfolio includes co-founding CloudKitchens, which reached a $15 billion valuation in 2021, alongside backing companies like Ring, acquired by Amazon, and Swarm, acquired by SpaceX. He serves on several corporate boards, recently joining Xona Space Systems following a $92 million Series B funding round, and holds director positions with Joby Aviation and Artsy. Dayton maintains a primary investment focus on backing founders who are developing solutions in internet infrastructure, artificial intelligence, satellite communications, and aviation technology.
