Shailendra Singh

Shailendra Singh is a Managing Director at Peak XV Partners, formerly known as Sequoia Capital India & SEA, where he spearheads investment activities across India and the ASEAN region. Since joining the firm in 2006, he has helped oversee a portfolio of more than 600 investments and recently led the closure of a $1.3 billion venture fund. Recognized multiple times on the Forbes Midas List, his venture capital track record includes leading funding rounds for prominent technology and financial services startups such as Go-Jek and Pine Labs. Prior to his investing career, Singh earned an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from IIT Bombay and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. Today, his primary focus remains on deploying capital into early and growth-stage technology, consumer, and fintech enterprises navigating the rapidly evolving Asian market.
