Sean Harper

Sean Harper is a General Partner at Everywhere VC based in San Francisco, California, where he specializes in early-stage consumer and enterprise software investments. Prior to his venture capital career, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University and co-founded the education technology startup Chef. Harper served as Chief Executive Officer of Chef until its 2017 acquisition by Chegg, subsequently working as an operator within the software-as-a-service sector. Through Everywhere VC, he launched a $50 million second fund in 2024 and has backed over 20 companies, including Stytch and Hadrian. He also authors a technology newsletter reaching 50,000 subscribers and recently invested in the artificial intelligence startup Beiff in March 2025. Harper currently focuses on providing capital and operational guidance to founders building scalable platforms in the productivity and education markets.
