Scott Frederick

Scott Frederick is a veteran venture capitalist currently exploring new startup and investment opportunities after stepping down as Managing Partner at Sands Capital in 2025. During his nearly six-year tenure at the firm, he expanded its early-stage venture arm, which has raised $2.1 billion across eight funds and completed over 150 portfolio investments. He directly oversaw the firm's investments in technology and healthcare startups, including Credo AI, HealthSnap, SafeBreach, and Boom Entertainment. Previously, Frederick co-founded Valhalla Partners, served as a partner and head of business development at New Enterprise Associates, and operated as Chief Operating Officer at Automated Insights.
