Scot Wingo

Scot Wingo is the Managing Partner at River2G Capital, an early-stage venture fund based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Before launching the fund in 2022, he co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of ChannelAdvisor, an e-commerce software platform that he led to a 2013 initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, raising over $80 million in capital. Wingo holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina. As an active angel investor with a portfolio of more than 50 startups, he recently directed funding into the artificial intelligence platform EcomAI and presented at Techstars Startup Week Raleigh. His current professional focus centers on scaling early-stage software-as-a-service and digital marketplace enterprises across the broader southeastern United States.
