Sarah Tavel

Sarah Tavel is a General Partner at Benchmark based in San Francisco, California, where she focuses on seed and Series A investments in consumer internet and software companies. Before joining the venture firm in 2016, she served as a product manager at Pinterest from 2012 to 2014 and spent five years as an investor at Bessemer Venture Partners following her early career at Bain & Company. Her venture portfolio includes early investments in prominent technology companies such as Airbnb, Uber, Figma, and Postmates, which was acquired by Uber for $2.65 billion in 2020.
