Sanjay Patil

Sanjay Patil is the Managing Partner at SP Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Prior to founding the investment firm in 2018, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Cisco Systems, where he managed a global team of over 400 developers and oversaw a $150 million annual research and development budget. Patil previously held senior product management roles at Oracle and initially began his technology career as a software engineer at Intel Corporation during the late 1990s. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and has co-authored seven distinct patents in distributed cloud computing infrastructure.
