Sameer Dholakia

Sameer Dholakia is a Partner in the growth investment practice at Bessemer Venture Partners. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of SendGrid from 2014 to 2019, where he scaled the enterprise software company into a $250 million business, led its 2017 initial public offering, and oversaw its acquisition by Twilio for approximately $3 billion. Before his tenure at SendGrid, Dholakia worked as the Group Vice President and General Manager of cloud platforms at Citrix Systems following the company's acquisition of VMLogix, where he had also served as CEO. He earned a Master of Business Administration, alongside a Master of Arts in Organizational Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University. Today, his professional focus centers on providing capital and strategic guidance to growth-stage startups operating within the cloud and artificial intelligence sectors.
