Sam Shank

Sam Shank is a serial entrepreneur and executive in the hospitality technology sector based in New York City, NY. He previously served as the co-founder and CEO of HotelTonight, scaling the travel marketplace to millions of users and over $100 million in annual bookings before its acquisition by Airbnb in 2019. Shank also co-founded and led Tock as CEO, growing the restaurant reservation platform to serve more than 10,000 restaurants and process over $1 billion in reservations prior to its $400 million acquisition by Squarespace in October 2021. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA from the University of Virginia, and he has recently served as an advisor to various hospitality startups.
