Sam Blond

Sam Blond is a General Partner at SignalFire, a venture capital firm managing over $2.5 billion in assets, based in San Francisco, California. Before transitioning to venture capital in 2022, he served as Vice President of Growth at the fintech unicorn Brex and was an early employee at Pinterest. The University of California, Berkeley alumnus also co-founded and acted as Chief Executive Officer of Aspire, a fintech company that raised more than $100 million. At SignalFire, he has backed over 50 companies and led the firm's $1 billion Fund IV raise in 2024 to target artificial intelligence infrastructure. His recent investment activity includes participating in the February 2025 Series B round for the AI startup Adept and supporting portfolio companies like Glean. Blond currently focuses on early-stage investments across enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and financial technology.
