Rouz Jazayeri

Rouz Jazayeri is the co-founder and Managing Director of Catapult Ventures, a seed-stage deep tech investment firm focused on artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, and embedded systems. Before launching the firm, he gained operational and investment experience working on 45nm microprocessor technology at Intel and collaborating with investors like John Doerr at Kleiner Perkins. He holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, which informs his technical approach to evaluating hardware and software startups across industrial manufacturing, aerospace, and healthcare. Jazayeri has directed capital into numerous promising early-stage companies, recently participating in Urban Sky's $30 million Series A, leading Mythic AI's $13 million Series C, and backing Quadratic's $5.6 million seed round. His deep tech portfolio also includes several successful early exits from notable startups such as Oculii, XNOR.ai, FlightWave, and Left Hand Robotics.
