Romero Rodrigues is a Managing Partner at Headline based in São Paulo, Brazil. Prior to his venture capital career, he co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of the e-commerce comparison platform Buscapé from 1998 until its $374 million acquisition by Naspers in 2009. During his executive tenure, he scaled the company to $250 million in annual revenue, executed more than 15 strategic acquisitions, and secured four rounds of external funding. Rodrigues, who holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, officially transitioned into institutional investing as a fund manager in 2016. In his current capacity, he directs $500,000 to $10 million early-stage investments across Latin America, backing prominent technology enterprises like Rappi.
