Roger Lee is the Co-Founder of Human Interest, a digital 401(k) provider automating retirement plan administration for small and medium-sized businesses. The Y Combinator alumni company currently serves over 15,000 businesses and has raised more than $700 million in total funding from institutional investors including BlackRock and SoftBank ahead of a planned initial public offering. Before establishing Human Interest, Lee co-founded the advertising technology firm PaperG in 2007 with fellow university students, and earlier built SubProfiles, an AIM network with millions of users. He subsequently created Job Change Notifier, an alert service that tracked 20 million LinkedIn connections between 2011 and 2013, and launched the widely cited technology industry tracker Layoffs.fyi in 2020. Holding a Series 65 license, his career focus remains on building scalable financial technology platforms, automated human resources tools, and data-driven tracking applications.
