Robin Behlau is a Germany-based entrepreneur and active investor who previously served as the co-founder of the digital home services marketplace Käuferportal. Launching the platform in 2008 alongside his school friend and co-founder Mario Kohle while completing his studies at WHU, Behlau developed a system to connect consumers with regional home improvement professionals. He subsequently guided the company through a major transition, rebranding the enterprise as Aroundhome and scaling its operational network to encompass 12,000 manufacturers and tradespeople across the country. This expansion enabled the platform to process approximately 2 billion euros in annual transaction volume, ultimately leading to an acquisition where media conglomerate ProSiebenSat.1 purchased a 94% majority stake in the business. Today, Behlau leverages his capital and operational expertise to focus on private investments, building upon his foundational background of scaling consumer-to-tradesperson platforms and digital home maintenance solutions.
