ROBERT GENTZ

Robert Gentz is the Co-CEO of Zalando and an active venture capitalist specializing in early-stage technology companies, based in Berlin, Germany. He co-founded Zalando in 2008 alongside David Schneider, successfully scaling the European e-commerce platform into a publicly traded enterprise on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with over €10 billion in annual revenue. Alongside his primary executive duties at the firm, his investment career centers on identifying high-potential opportunities within the broader tech ecosystem. He focuses on supporting innovative startups, leveraging his extensive operational background to assist emerging founders in scaling their operations. He holds a degree from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, an institution widely known for producing prominent technology leaders.
