Rob Theis

Rob Theis is the General Partner and Chief Investment Officer at World Innovation Lab (WiL), where he currently invests in multi-stage technology companies. Over his 25-year career in the venture capital industry, he has invested in more than 25 companies and overseen eight initial public offerings. His extensive venture investment portfolio includes prominent technology firms such as Canva, DocuSign, HubSpot, RingCentral, and Auth0. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as a product manager for IRIS Series Workstations at Silicon Graphics, held executive positions at Sun Microsystems, and co-founded the NASDAQ-listed New Era of Networks in 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh. His current focus remains on allocating capital to scale high-growth technology businesses that utilize software to address complex global enterprise challenges.
