Ralph Gootee is a serial technology entrepreneur and software engineer currently serving as the Co-founder of TigerEye. Previously, he was the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of PlanGrid, a construction productivity software company backed by Y Combinator during its Winter 2012 batch. Under his technical leadership, PlanGrid scaled its operations significantly before ultimately being acquired by Autodesk in a major transaction valued at approximately $875 million. Before entering the startup ecosystem, Gootee developed his expertise in software engineering and design through technical roles at prominent organizations, including Pixar, Sony, and Johns Hopkins University. He holds a formal academic background in abstract mathematics, which informs his approach to solving complex technical challenges across different industries.
