Rajan Anandan is the Managing Director at Peak XV Partners, where he advises early-stage startup investments and mentors founders through the firm's Surge program. Prior to his transition into venture capital, he led regional operations as the head of Google in Southeast Asia and India. Earlier in his professional career, he worked in management consulting at McKinsey after earning a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. In his current investment capacity, he has recently partnered with emerging companies, including the AI-powered financial data analytics platform Auquan in 2024 and the new-age curriculum network Anandi Schools in 2025. Anandan currently focuses on identifying and scaling early-stage technology startups by leveraging his extensive background in corporate leadership and strategic consulting.
