PETER KOLCHINSKY

Peter Kolchinsky is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of RA Capital Management, a life sciences investment firm based in the Boston, Massachusetts area. He earned a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and a doctorate in virology from Harvard University before launching the firm in 2001. As an investor, he oversees multi-stage allocations across public and private healthcare companies and currently serves on the boards of ARS Pharmaceuticals, WAVE Life Sciences, and Icosavax. His previous board directorships include Forma Therapeutics from 2019 to 2022, Synthorx from 2018 to 2020, and Dicerna Pharmaceuticals from 2013 to 2019. In addition to his investment activities, he authored the book "The Great American Drug Deal" and founded the nonprofit organization No Patient Left Behind. His current focus remains on funding biotechnology drug development while advocating for healthcare reform and biomedical innovation.
