Ott Kaukver

Ott Kaukver is an active angel investor and the former Chief Technology Officer at Checkout.com, currently based in London. During his tenure at the global payment processor, he directed the engineering organization and drove the technical strategy to support high-volume transaction processing. Previously, he served as the CTO of Twilio, where he scaled the engineering team from 200 to over 3,000 developers and managed the platform's infrastructure through its initial public offering. Earlier in his career, he was an early engineering leader at Skype, launching the SkypeOut product and growing the division into a major revenue generator. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Administration from the Estonian Business School and an MBA from INSEAD. Kaukver currently focuses on advising early-stage technology startups, leveraging his extensive background in scaling global engineering infrastructure.
