Nick Mehta

Nick Mehta is the Managing Director at Steep Rock Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before joining the firm in 2023, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Gainsight, where he helped scale the customer success platform leading to its $1.1 billion acquisition by Vista Equity Partners in 2020. His earlier operational experience includes revenue and leadership roles at Totango, Lili, and KISSmetrics, following his graduation from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and Engineering. At Steep Rock Capital, Mehta manages a portfolio of over 20 enterprise technology investments, including positions in companies such as Gong and Census. As the co-author of a 2022 book on revenue operations, his current professional focus centers on guiding early-stage enterprise SaaS founders through go-to-market strategies and AI-driven software scaling.
