NICHOLAS BRATHWAITE

Nicholas Brathwaite is the Founding Managing Partner at Celesta Capital, a deep tech venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. Since its inception in 2013, Celesta Capital has invested in more than 110 early-stage technology companies across the semiconductor, materials, and data management sectors. Prior to assuming his current role, Brathwaite co-founded the private equity firm Riverwood Capital and served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aptina Imaging. He previously spent over a decade as the Chief Technology Officer of Flex, where he helped scale the global electronics manufacturing company's revenue from $300 million to $30 billion, and he originally began his career at Intel. With over 40 years of operational and investment experience, his current focus remains on evaluating transformational early-stage deep tech investments and providing strategic board-level guidance to portfolio companies.
