Neha Narkhede is the Co-founder and CEO of Oscilar, as well as the Co-founder and Board Director of Confluent, based in Palo Alto, California. Prior to launching Confluent, she worked as a software engineer at Oracle and later led streams infrastructure at LinkedIn, where she co-created the open-source Apache Kafka platform in 2011. Under her leadership, Confluent raised $456 million in venture funding before reaching a $4.5 billion valuation during its 2021 initial public offering. Concurrently, Apache Kafka was adopted by 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies, including major technology enterprises like Netflix and Uber. She holds a master's degree in computer science from Georgia Tech and established her current risk detection startup, Oscilar, in 2021. Her professional background centers on advancing real-time streaming data infrastructure and developing enterprise risk management platforms.
