Nate Fick

Nate Fick is the Chief Strategy Officer for Equities at Cerberus Capital Management, based in New England. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, he served as the inaugural U.S. Ambassador for Cyberspace and Digital Policy at the State Department from 2022 to 2025, leading diplomacy efforts concerning artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. In the private sector, Fick was the General Manager of Elastic Security following the 2019 acquisition of Endgame, where he had operated as Chief Executive Officer. He previously spent nearly a decade as an operating partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and served as the CEO of the Center for a New American Security between 2009 and 2012 after completing combat tours as a Marine Corps officer. His career bridges government service and private investment, with a primary focus on cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and national security technologies.
