MUSAWIR SHAH

Musawir Shah is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Jerry, an insurtech and fintech company based in Mountain View, California. In this executive role, he oversees engineering strategy, machine learning integration, and system scalability for an organization of approximately 288 employees. Prior to co-founding Jerry, Shah served as the Vice President of Engineering and Data at YourMechanic. He originally joined YourMechanic as its first engineering hire, spending four years as a systems architect where he built and led the initial software development team. Earlier in his career, he spent several years developing hardware and software solutions at NVIDIA, working alongside future collaborators after earning his doctorate in computer science. Shah’s current focus centers on remaining hands-on with coding while building highly scalable consumer applications and leading efficient engineering teams across the automotive and financial technology sectors.
