Mike Giampapa is a General Partner at Galaxy Ventures, where he leads investments across the cryptocurrency and financial technology sectors. Prior to his current position, he served at Bessemer Venture Partners, directing venture capital investments across a portfolio of over 30 crypto and fintech companies. His earlier career includes investment roles at Institutional Venture Partners, where he led the firm's investment in Coinbase, as well as holding positions at J.P. Morgan and in business development at Circle. Giampapa earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he served as co-president of the Blockchain and Crypto Club, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. He currently focuses his investment strategy on the intersection of digital assets and traditional finance, specifically targeting security infrastructure, decentralized finance applications, and developer tooling.
