Michael Fey

Michael Fey is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Island, an enterprise software company focused on corporate browser security. Prior to this current role, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Symantec following its $4.7 billion acquisition of Blue Coat in 2016, where he also held the titles of President and COO. Earlier in his career, Fey was the Chief Technology Officer of Intel Security and the Executive Vice President and General Manager for Enterprise Products at McAfee. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in Intel's $7.7 billion acquisition of McAfee in 2010, and he later co-authored the publication Security Battleground: An Executive Field Manual. His professional background centers on scaling cybersecurity operations, managing complex enterprise software product strategies, and leading go-to-market functions across the broader technology sector.
