Matthieu Lavergne

Matthieu Lavergne is a Partner at Serena Capital based in the Paris region of France, where he focuses on early-stage infrastructure software investments. Before joining the venture capital firm, he served as the Head of Global Strategic Partnerships at Voodoo, securing more than 30 technology deals during his tenure. His earlier career includes strategy consulting and corporate development roles at Roland Berger and BNP Paribas, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and early-stage startup fundraising. Lavergne also founded two technology startups in the B2B SaaS and service marketplace sectors after earning an MSc in Management from HEC Paris. Additionally, he authored the first French-language book on 3D printing, published by Editions Favre in 2013. His current investment focus centers on funding early-stage technology companies developing developer tools, open-source artificial intelligence stacks, data platforms, and enterprise cloud infrastructure.
