Matt Garratt

Matt Garratt is a General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners based in Menlo Park, California. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, he served as a General Partner at CRV and spent eight years as Senior Vice President and Managing Partner at Salesforce Ventures. During his tenure there, he oversaw more than 400 global investments and led funding for companies that achieved a combined market capitalization exceeding $100 billion, generating over $2 billion in returns through exits like Snowflake, Zoom, and Anaplan. His earlier career includes investment roles at Battery Ventures and Plymouth Ventures, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Garratt currently leverages his two decades of venture capital experience to focus on early-stage investments in enterprise software, artificial intelligence, and data-first applications.
