Martin A Cabrera

Martin Cabrera is the Chicago-based Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Cabrera Capital Markets and Cabrera Capital Partners. Bringing over twenty-five years of finance experience to his leadership roles, he has advised prominent organizations including the Chicago Community Trust, World Business Chicago, the Archdiocese of Chicago, and Econ Illinois. Through his global investment banking and institutional brokerage firm, he oversees operations that trade over $1 billion in securities daily and have issued over $330 billion in municipal debt alongside $400 billion in corporate debt and equities. His real estate investment and development company, Cabrera Capital Partners, has managed $3.5 billion in properties and is currently developing a mixed-use project valued at over $400 million. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Illinois University and studied at the London School of Economics.
